London Friend is a charity that has been serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community since 1972.

We exist to promote the social, emotional, physical and sexual health and well-being of lesbian, gay and bisexual people, including transgender people who identify as lesbian, gay or bisexual and all those unsure of their sexuality.

We offer counselling and support services which set out to explore issues of same-sex relationships, sexual identity and promote personal growth and self-confidence. We also provide social groups, and a safe space as an alternative place to meet and socialise

All our services are delivered by trained lesbian, gay and bisexual volunteers. The services we provide include:

• General LGBT Helpline - 020 7837 3337 (7.30pm-9.30pm Tue, Wed & Fri)
• Bereavement Helpline - 020 7403 5969 (7.30pm-9.30pm every Tuesday)
• E-mail support service at E-Talk
• Homophobic & Transphobic Crime Reporting
• One-to-one Counselling
• Groups and Workshops
• A library on LGBT issues
• Free information on HIV/AIDS and other sexually-transmitted infections
• Free condoms and lube

London Friend aims to offer equality of access and opportunity to all its service users, volunteers and employees. We work proactively to reflect the diversity of the London population we serve.

The group meeting rooms, counselling room and toilet on the ground floor are at street level and accessible to those using a wheelchair.

Parking is available outside from 7.00pm Monday to Saturday and all day Sunday.
