At Downsend we are proud of our children’s smiles, their talents and their successes.
Downsend is a co-educational day preparatory school, providing education from 2 to 13. With three separate pre-preparatory Lodges, each with its own Head and dedicated staff, and a main school site for the older children, Downsend provides a refreshingly different education.
The best way to judge a school is by studying the faces of its pupils. You are always welcome, so come and visit us and see for yourself.

Autumn Term
The term has got off to a flying start with lots of activities, trips and matches. This is a very special year for Downsend School as we welcome our new Headmaster, Floyd Steadman, as well as Miss Jacqueline Birchall as Head of Epsom Lodge.
