Sponsor a class - programme

The Sponsor a class programme has been set up with the aim to provide every school child in the United Kingdom with visible protection against roadside injury. The latest survey shows that roadside accidents have exceeded 271,000. Visual protection can be achieved through a sponsorship programme giving every child an equal opportunity to be seen – be safe!.

The Audit Commission said in a recent statement. “Young people are among the most vulnerable of road users. One in seven pedestrians killed in road collisions is a child or adolescent. A fifth of all drivers involved in an accident are under 25 years old. So road safety is a really big issue for the young people that your school or college works with”.
