Our new golfing year starts on 1st April and there are a few memberships available for both men and women. The fees this year are Men £508.78, Ladies £496.85 and there is no joining fee at the moment. You can if you wish pay this fee in five monthly installments for a small additional charge, this is for full seven day membership and if you do not have a handicap all you need to do is complete three cards (one with a committee member). If you are already a member of another club and have an official CONGU handicap this will be transferred.

Once you have a handicap you can enter club competitions. Mens competitions are held every Sunday, Ladies every Wednesday and Seniors every Tuesday. The qualification for the Seniors is 55 years old. This section is open to both men and ladies who have attained this age.

Birch Grove is a friendly club and with competitions every week it is an ideal way to meet new people. We have excellent drainage on the course and it is very rarely closed due to bad weather. During the very wet months of January and February this year the course was only closed twice. Therefore you get good value for your membership and are not frustrated by paying membership to find your course unplayale for long periods.

So if you are interested visit the club and complete a membership form or write to the club, details of which can be found on the "Contact" page of this web site.
