Welcome to Brook Hall Cookery School which I opened last year, after six years as Chef/ Director of the Raymond Blanc Cookery School at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons.  Here are our new courses for this season:

Winter Dinner Party – Delicious, seasonal dishes for entertaining this winter – starters, main courses and desserts.

Game Cookery – A favourite with game experts and novices alike. Portioning birds for easy service and using the bones for great sauces.

 

Aga Cooking – Make the most of the heat and space in an Aga to prepare sophisticated dinner party food.

  

Preparing for Christmas – Let Steve teach you how to take the stress out of Christmas cooking, so you enjoy the day.

Brook Hall

Brook Hall, in Winslow, Buckinghamshire is a Grade II listed townhouse dating back to the 18th century. In its time, it has been a School for Young Ladies, an art gallery and a private residence.

Filled with period features, Brook Hall has recently been refurbished to incorporate the requirements of the cookery school and private entertaining within an informal and stylish family home:

  • Two air-conditioned teaching kitchens specially designed by Underwoods and equipped by Neff and Aga
  • Elegant drawing room & dining room seating 16 guests
  • Separate meeting room facility for up to 20 guests
  • Three spacious bedrooms available for residential guests
  • A private, walled garden with large heated swimming pool
