Established in 1968, The Collectors Workshop have been in the business of restoring fine furniture for the antiques trade ever since.

FURNITURE MAKING
As specialist Cabinet Makers we are able to make individual pieces to your exact requirements, for example, from a side table, to
duplicating an existing chair, using old timber and quality fittings etc.
CARVING
Our experienced carver can duplicate mouldings and figures etc, as well as replace any missing requirements.
POLISHING
Traditional Hand , French and Wax Polishing , Lacquering and Spray finishing for modern pieces.
RE UPHOLSTERY
We offer a full upholstery and recovering service using both traditional and modern materials & methods, whether it be from a lose
seat, to a deep buttoned sofa.
RUSH AND CANE SEATING
We can repair both cane & rush seating, or completely replace old, or perished seats.
LEATHER WORK
Our extensive leather department covers all aspects of leather work, including desktops, upholstery, shelf edging, and bookspines.
GILDING
Specializing in mirror & picture frames, sculptures, and furniture, our team of gilders use real gold or silver leaf, to create a
toned, aged or distressed look to match the original object, or to the customers specification.
MARQUETRY
We cover repairs to all inlaid work, which include veneers, ivory, brass, tortoiseshell, and mother of pearl.
ANTIQUE KEY AND LOCK MAKING
Our locksmith department can make antique keys with brass bows, to fit old locks, or to replace missing keys. We can also make or
replace locks for all pieces of furniture. |
