    Windsor Slough Eton & Hounslow AC are hosting the next Chiltern Cross Country League event on Saturday, 6th December at Upton Court Park - Slough.

    WE ARE IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS TO HELP WITH THIS EVENT

    We are looking for help with marshalling duties on the day. Apart from your time, all you need are some warm clothes, a good pair of warm boots/wellies, wet gear should the weather turn inclement and maybe some refreshments.

    Berks Bucks & Oxon Cross Country Championships - Sat, 15th Nov 2008 - Maidenhead

    Windsor Slough Eton & Hounslow AC were out in force in most of the races at last weekend’s Berks Bucks & Oxon Cross Country Championships and were rewarded with a host of individual and team medals. The race is perhaps the oldest in the cross country calendar with trophies dating back 90 plus years. There were individual golds for Steve Kimber in the Senior Mens Race, Rachel Stedman in the Under 20 Ladies Race, Bex Myers in the Under 17 Ladies event, and Ruth Bourne in the Under 13 Girls race. Team golds were accrued by the Under 17 Mens Team, and the Under 15 Boys Team.

    Chiltern Cross Country League Div 1 – RAF Halton - Sat, 8th Nov 2008

    Windor Slough Eton & Hounslow Athletic Club contested the 2nd of the Apex Sports Chiltern Cross Country League series at RAF Halton on Saturday. There were some excellent performances from the WSEH young athletes on display but there was a worrying and conspicuous absence of the Senior Men where 10 were required to make a team wheras WSEH musterd just 5 and of these 2 were in the Under 20 age group and two were veterans.

    UKAthletics award for WSEH throwers

    News of another National Award for WSEH was received this week. The Club has received the accolade of being the Top Club – Throws in the UK for the exploits of their throwers in the Under 20, Under 17, and Under 15 categories – a tribute to the excellent coaching that is currently available within the local club in the Shot, Discus, Javelin and Hammer events. The award will be presented at the UK Athletics Annual Dinner on November 29th when a number of the involved coaches will be present.

    English Cross Country Relays - Sat, 1st Nov 2008 - Mansfield

    On Saturday the largest WSEH team for years competed in the English Cross Country Relays at Berry Hill Park , Mansfield . For most of the 35 strong junior squad it was their first experience of this high quality event and they all rose to the occasion.
