Cannabis grower escapes summary judgment on postponed possession order

The judgement delivery in the case of London Borough of Wandsworth v Whibley (in which Robert Latham and Jim Shepherd were instructed for the cannabis grower) outlined that Councils cannot ask the courts for summary judgment on postponed possession orders unless they can prove that one of the conditions has been breached. ►►

Media successfully challenges reporting restrictions in multi-million employment claim

The Employment Appeal Tribunal has upheld a variation of a restricted reporting order allowing the reporting of the sexual misconduct allegations in the Fariad sisters' multi-million employment tribunal case against Tradition Securities and Futures. Guy Vassall-Adams represented the six national news organisations who successfully challenged the reporting restrictions. ►►
