The Under 15s consolidated their second place position in Div A with a 5-0 away win at Royal United. The previous week the team qualified for the quarter final of the cup with a 3-2 win away to Brockham Badgers

15th November - Upper Beeding 3 Horsham Crusaders 4 (After Extra Time)
Goals from Zach Byars (2) and Martin Woods couldn’t prevent cup exit by ‘A’ Division Horsham Crusaders
who won with a last minute penalty in extra time.

U11 Boys Team-

22nd November
Upper Beeding 2 Brockham Badgers 5
Despite coming from 2 - 0 down with goals from Jay Hide and Dylan Fane, Beeding saw a Brockham side able to convert their chances defeating us with three goals scored within 5 minutes. Although the scoreline was no way representative of the balance of play, if you do not take your chances you will not win top end of the league games like this. David Barrie's probing performance earned him the man of the match this week and the team's general play was good but it wasn't to be this week.

15th November
Upper Beeding 3 Southwater
Upper Beeding move into the next round of the cup following a focussed and hard fought win against a good Southwater side. Two goals from Jay Hide and a blaster from man of the match Liam Clarke made the game safe though we needed to dig in and do the ugly stuff for large parts of the game. There was no panic and the pressure was dealt with admirably withevery member of the squad contributing to the victory. Two cup wins plusa bye mean we are putting together a nice run in this competition

18th October - Upper Beeding 3 Horsham Crusaders 0

The team bounces back after defeat in our last game to eventually break down a stubborn Horsham Crusaders team. An outstanding strike from Liam Clarke and two neat finishes from Jay Hide all within five minutes secure a victory. Dylan Fane's outstanding second half earned him man of the match this week but an all round team display was what we needed and the team delivered in spades.

4th October 2008 - Upper Beeding 0 Holmbury Wolves 6
The team will have learned a lot after a slightly depleted team lost to a very strong Holmbury side. The lessons learned must be taken on board if we are to bounce back for next week's game and keep our title bid alive

27th September 2008 - Upper Beeding 14 Horsham Tigers 0
With goals from David Barry, Jay Hide, Liam Clarke, Sam Smith and Callum Tonkin Upper Beeding storm into the next round of the cup.

Saturday 20th September, Upper Beeding 4 Henfield 2

A hard fought and nervy local Derby was won through a Jay Hide long range looping effort, two sweetly struck goals from Liam Clarke and a neatly dispatched penalty from Dylan Fane. The team got their reward for tenacity and skill on the day and now sit proudly at the top of the league. Man of the Match was won by the solid and efficient Charlie Wadey who didn't put a foot wrong all game.

13th September 2008, Upper Beeding 12 Handcross Tigers 0

The goals keep flying in following a very strong performance from a full strength Beeding team. 5 more goals from Jay Hide and another hatrick from David Barrie, a debut goal from Sam Smith, another from the consistent Callum Tonkin and a couple of peaches from Liam Clarke and Mitch O'Toole complete the job against a Handcross team which will have learned a lot from the game. We predict them to be a much stronger team in the return match. Man of the match to our centre half Callum 'CJ' Ashdown.

Upper Beeding Football Club are a FA Charter Standard Club who are always eager to attract parents, experienced players or qualified coaches to join.

All of our teams have qualified coaches and first aiders, but we always need more to meet our aims of running as many sides as possible

As an FA Charter Standard Club all courses and training can be arranged by us through the Sussex County FA at little or no cost to yourselves.
