We are seeking a Fundraising and Communications Director who as part of the Senior Leadership Team will lead the Fundraising and Communications team to inspire UK Christians, churches, and Trusts to sustainably support CMS through giving and prayer. To be successful in your application, you will need to demonstrate:

We are working in partnership with the Pontesbury Project, who are looking to appoint an experienced Registered Care Manager (NVQ level 5 qualified) to help lead the service, and ensure the continued growth and development of their care provision and maintaining outstanding quality care.
Pontesbury Project is a local charity providing care and homes to adults with learning difficulties in a caring, fulfilling, meaningful and nurturing environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for care to help lead the service. The new Registered Care Manager will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, playing a significant and valued role working alongside the Nominated Individual and Trustees to ensure the service develops, continues to perform at the highest-level and adheres to all legislative requirements. We are working in Partnership with Human Appeal (HA) who are seeking to appoint a Director of Finance to provide strategic and financial guidance, ensuring that the organisation’s financial commitments are met, including developing all necessary policies and procedures to ensure sound financial management and control.
The new Director of Finance will manage the day-to-day operations of the Finance department, while helping to drive business success, providing the financial insights that lead to better commercial decisions for both the UK, and their global offices. Every year Me 2 Club match passionate and committed volunteers with children and young people who have additional needs and disabilities, enabling them to attend and participate in mainstream leisure activities. In this newly created role, the Fundraising Manager will build positive relationships with funders and individuals, inspiring them to give their support. With line management responsibility for the Community Fundraiser, you will play a vital role in delivering community-based fundraising activities and corporate partnerships, playing a critical role in making sure that Me2Club can support more children.
You will have:
- Experience with identifying funding opportunities, particularly through Trusts and Foundations, maintaining a pipeline of funding opportunities with an innovative and creative approach to problem solving and ability to capitalise on opportunities.

We are working in partnership with St John’s Winchester Charity, (SJW) which is now looking to recruit Trustees to join its Board of Trustees, which sets and approves the charity’s strategy.
SJW’s core mission is to help older people live well. It provides almshouse accommodation in central Winchester for about 105 older people with housing and other needs. It also supports older people in Winchester and the surrounding district to continue to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible; with its outreach services – Hand in Hand, established in 2018, and Dementia Support, established in 2022.
The role of Trustee can be enormously interesting, rewarding, and enjoyable. SJW is looking to appoint several new Trustees ls to join a lively, engaged, collegiate Board. It is particularly keen to hear from people who can bring the following skills and experience:
- Fundraising (including an understanding and appreciation of the use of social media)
- Health and welfare of elderly people
- Management of social housing/law and regulation of social housing
- Property portfolio management
- Domiciliary care – specifically the commercial aspects of running such a service.

The role involves overseeing and expanding the Trusts and Foundations Programme, as well as assisting in securing substantial contributions from individual donors. - Experience in researching potential Trust funders, submitting compelling proposals, securing funding (ideally with some experience of securing grants of £100,000+), and project managing successful bids through to completion of the grant award.

RPMT is seeking a Fundraiser with experience in trusts and foundations to oversee the fundraising campaign for the project. The chosen individual will take on responsibilities such as identifying and researching prospects, implementing new fundraising streams, and delivering an activity program encompassing members and patrons' schemes, major gifts, public appeals, and fundraising events. The successful applicant will work across all RPMT sites.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Proven and demonstrable experience in raising funds from trusts and foundations.
- Experience of writing fundraising copy, both for encouraging donations and building relationships with supporters.
- Ability to identify and respond to fundraising opportunities and articulate a project, programme, or fundraising appeal in a compelling manner.
- Ability to present information verbally and in written format including progress reports, project updates and briefings to a range of audiences in a clear, accurate and confident manner.

Excellent administration and organisational skills, with the proven ability to organise and plan your own workload and establish clear priorities to meet deadlines will be essential.

We are working in partnership with Connect: North Korea, a UK-based organisation established in 2018 to address the complex challenges North Koreans face in building new lives once they’ve reached safety in a free country. The charity now has a global aim: enabling every person who escaped the oppression of North Korea, to heal, grow, and live the life they choose through holistic support programmes.
Connect: North Korea are now seeking a new Chair to lead the Board, ensuring it fulfils its responsibilities for the governance of the charity. The new Chair will also work in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team in achieving the aims of the charity effectively and efficiently and will serve as a dynamic connector and ambassador, representing Connect: North Korea at events and meetings and support in building the profile of the organisation.
Successful candidates must also be able to demonstrate:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior strategic leadership level role in a professional setting.

The Chair can serve for an initial term of three years and will have the opportunity to be re-appointed for a second term (maximum of six years). Board meetings are held four times a year in addition to an away day and sub-committee meetings. All reasonable expenses will be covered by the charity. We anticipate a 2–3-hour monthly time commitment.

We are working in partnership with Chichester Counselling Services (CCS), a registered charity, whose aim is to provide affordable counselling and training services to the community of Chichester and the wider areas of West Sussex and East Hampshire. CCS’s psychodynamic training programme, accredited by the BACP, has a reputation for rigour and depth. The counselling offered is frequently recommended by local health professionals and is well-respected in the community: around two thirds of their clients approach CCS having been encouraged to do so by professional advisors or by their family, friends, or employers.
CCS are now seeking a new Chair, a Treasurer and Trustees to enhance and grow the Board of Trustees. You will have a passion for supporting the charity sector and with knowledge and/or interest in psychodynamic counselling. However, we also actively seeking individuals with a finance qualification and/or senior finance experience, lived experience of having been through counselling, and/or experience of either working within a charity or having been on the Board of a charity.
Successful candidates must also be able to demonstrate:
- An understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities, and liabilities of Trusteeship.
- A strategic vision and sound independent judgement.
- Able to think creatively and work effectively as a member of a team and to take decision for the good of CCS.
- A commitment to Nolan’s seven principles of public life: selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty, and leadership.
Trustees serve for an initial term of three years and will have the opportunity to be re-appointed for a second and final term (maximum of nine years). Trustee meetings are held between 5-7pm, four times a year in addition to a half day strategy meeting. All reasonable expenses will be covered by the charity.

We are working in partnership with RABI who are looking to appoint an Individual Giving Fundraiser to join their team. In this newly created role, the Individual Giving Fundraiser will be primarily responsible for developing and managing individual giving income, in conjunction with other fundraising disciplines.
At the heart of agriculture and the farming community, RABI provide practical, financial and mental health support across England and Wales, to empower farming people to become financially resilient, so short-term monetary problems don’t create negative life-changing impacts.
The new Individual Giving Fundraiser will join a small, but successful fundraising team, producing compelling fundraising communications, stewarding individual donors, including regular donors and gifts in memory, ensuring that donors receive excellent care. Alongside this you will manage the relationship of their incumbent fundraising agency week by week.
You will have:
• Prior experience of working in a fundraising setting, an understanding of good stewardship practices, donor recruitment and retention, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets from unrestricted donations.
• Effective relationship management and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to maximise engagement with donors and supporters. A thorough understanding of individual giving, the donor journey, and individual giving programmes, with experience of working with agencies would be an advantage.
• Marketing or direct marketing experience (e.g. telemarketing) and be able to create and tailor engaging and emotive copy for a range of different channels.
• Planned and delivered activity, managed projects, evaluating results including accurate record keeping using a CRM system.
• A positive and creative approach to work, thriving in a dynamic environment, with a variety of teams, meeting multiple deadlines and the ability to multitask.
We would like to hear from you if you are self-motivated and confident working independently and in a team. With excellent communication skills and good numeracy skills, you will be proficient in MS Office (including Excel and Word) and have a thorough understanding of Data Protection and fundraising regulations, compliance and best practice.
