Hampden House is situated in over 350 acres of historic parkland and beech woods with far reaching views across the Misbourne Valley.

Fabulous opportunities for stunning wedding photographs await in our magnificent grounds. Enjoy English sparkling wine or Pimm’s on the lawn and perhaps a game of croquet or two.

Civil Ceremony

Hampden House, delightfully a venue for all seasons. We have options for you to explore from exchanging vows in our beautifully renovated barn or hosting a full reception in our stunning rooms within the house. All experiences can be designed just for you, offering you both elegance and exclusivity.

The Great Hall … licensed for up to 120 guests, the perfect, unique and elegant start to your celebrations amongst family and friends. Continue in style with a drinks reception on the terrace and wedding breakfast served in our magnificent chinoiserie style dining room.

Hill House… create your very own fairytale with this charming setting. Our recently restored barn offers the perfect English country ambience and intimacy for up to 60 guests.

Church Ceremony

 

For a Church wedding, the beautiful 13th Century Parish Church of St Mary Magdalene epitomises the traditional wedding, and is conveniently located along the Hampden House drive.

2024 & 2025 Bespoke Weddings

Your Day … Your Way

This option lets you take full control of all the arrangements for you day.

A set fee is payable for the use of the venue for the duration of your wedding (usual hours 2:00pm until 11:00pm)

Our Rates include round dining tables, gold Cheltenham chairs, an easel for displaying your seating plan, cake base and cake knife, event manager and evening bar staff.

This also includes the option to pay corkage for your own wine and champagne for the drinks reception and wedding breakfast. The current cost is £8 inclusive of VAT. All alcohol sales are through ourselves in the evening.

With our Bespoke option we will work closely with you to produce an individual wedding celebration that is tailor-made for you. We are happy to share details of our carefully selected preferred partners but you are also free to select your own suppliers.

Venue Hire costs start from £6,500

£7,300 May, June, July, August,

September & October

Reductions available for smaller midweek weddings.
