Car and Trailer Test
All drivers who passed their car licence before 1 January 1997 retain their existing entitlement to tow trailers until their licence expires. Individuals who passed after this date are required to pass an additional driving test in order to gain entitlement to category B+E which allows them to tow caravans and trailers.
We provide full training, which includes the following:
- An off-road reverse manoeuvre
- Driving on the road.
- Uncoupling and coupling of the trailer
- Vehicle safety checks of the car and trailer.
Pass U have a good knowledge of the test routes and are able to show students all routes prior to their test in order to increase their confidence.
The car and trailer course begins with a free assessment lesson in order for both the instructor and student to gain an understanding of how much further training is required.
