A highly mixed feelings experience!
– Google says that the creperie opens at 12 noon, which in reality could be anywhere from 12 ‘till 13
– the staff can be a bit temperamental but are very professional cooks though
– the queue can be long
– they don’t do drinks but there are lots of lovely coffee shops nearby
– the crepes are simply AMAZING!! The dough is chewy and delicious, whilst the fillings (we had one with ham, cheese and mushrooms & another with Belgian milk chocolate and banana) are simply divine!
– the size of crepes is much better than in a parody place just a few feet away
Overall, I think the crepes here are the best in London and definitely worth the few minuses mentioned

Had the ham and cheese crepe; it was good although found the taste of butter overwhelming. Would have also liked a bit more ham and a little less cheese. Nevertheless this is probably the only place in the area that makes that kind of crepe with so many different sweet and savoury options. Decent crepe overall.
The queue was long. Waited around 20mins to get it. They accept card payments too.

Not worth the wait. I bet the crepe at the stall in front of the pub right next to this one is just the same plus no queue. How did this place survive during COVID with cash-only policy? (and no sign post of that whatsoever as mentioned in some comments). The lady staff is quite rude. Definitely not coming back.

I totally forgot the owner has been changed that I joined the queue for 45 mins to get an ordinary crêpe to disappoint myself, also being treated rudely just becoz I took a picture of the staff making crêpe.
The staff on the left said “Don’t take pictures of us, it’s not in a zoo!” Honestly, no one cares who’s making the crêpe, people who come mostly care about the foods only. If they are so sensitive about it they could have put up a sign to remind people about “dos” and “don’ts”: Don’t take pictures of the staffs and they take cash only. I don’t usually take cash with me. Luckily I got some last Saturday.I would be really mad if I waited for so long and was only told cash only when it’s my turn. I don’t know why they don’t mention about cash only at all?
I wish I have read other reviews before I visit. Not only the service is poor, the quality of the crêpe is not as good as it used to be, not tasty at all. I ordered the banana and dark chocolate, the crêpe itself is quite salty, and the dark chocolate is really sweet. Not sure if they put the wrong chocolate or it’s just poor quality of dark chocolate, it should not be that sweet.
Unfortunately, when they transferred the business to the current owner, they only transferred the name and the fame, but not the original good quality and service, what a shame. I honestly think any crêpe stall on the street in Paris tastes better than their crêpes and you don’t even need to queue for so long. And I’ve tried other crêpe stall in the UK before, much better than this. It’s not worth stopping by anymore.
Avoid this stall, save your money for some other nicer food and save your time.
It’s a ridiculous joke to see they say they have their business for 42 years in Hampstead since 1980. It’s not the SAME anymore, people!

Best crepes we have tried in London so far. The dough tastes amazing. Never been disappointed and we have tried their crepes quite a few times when in the area.

the best crepe I ever had! ordered banana cream dream and tasted one bite of my friend’s spinach garlic cheese and cream – concluded that both savory and sweets are good!
they really put all the ingredients generously.. you should also note that you can add chocolate to any sweets menu 🙂

There are 2 competing crepe stands next to each. The one on the right is the original. There was no queue midweek after 2pm. Delicious & filling crepe. But too heavy imo for one person.

The crepe is to us still the best in London. Very generous with the filling! And yes, no one loves working in rainy conditions but the staff was really really “unenthusiastic”

Nice crepes. Really long queue and bring cash because it was cash only when I went! They have a wide variety of options, both sweet and savoury. I chose honey for one and chocolate for the other. Really liked both.
