Menopause

We have two menopause clinics, the general menopause clinic and the premature menopause clinic, both located at Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital.

We provide care for women with routine menopause-related problems and specialised care for women with complex menopause-related gynaecological, medical and hormonal therapy problems.

Our premature menopause service is one of only a few of its kind in the UK, and we are at the forefront of research in this area. All patients (with consent) go onto a national registry to improve their care and that of future patients with premature menopause.

We offer routine and specialised multidisciplinary care, as well as consultations with a psychologist if appropriate. We treat:

• Menopause
• Osteoporosis
• Iatrogenic menopause (for women below the age of 40, medically/surgically induced menopause)
• Spontaneous premature menopause
