Advance Driver Fleet Training
By law, any business that employs five or more staff who drive as part of their work duties must offer driver assessments and relevant training to ensure competence and safety.
Fleet Driver Advance Driver Training provide bespoke training for company driver development, and can include:
- Risk reduction
- Driving assessments
- Post-collision training
- Eco-Safe driving
- Defensive driving
- Crash avoidance
- Risk management
- Etc.
and can be classroom based, road based, or a combination of the two.

Pricing
In my experience as a driver trainer I have found that longer sessions provide more value and an enhanced learning experience with the chance to learn and practice without the worry of time pressure.
I provide a minimum of 1.5 hour lessons, however I recommend 2 hour lessons as beinbg the most effective way to learn.
Half-day sessions are available upon request.
Learner Drivers and Post-Test Driver Training (minimum session is 1.5 hours)
2 hrs – £70 (equivalent £35/hr)
1 hr 30 – £55 (equivalent £36.60/hr)
Block booking
12 hrs – £360 (equivalent £30/hr)

About me – Dan Carter
My first jobs were in the pub and restaurant industry where I learnt quickly that I enjoy speaking to, and learning from, others. After working my up to being an assistant manager I left the hospitality trade, and having a passion for driving I trained as a driving instructor, qualifying in
2006.
As a self-employed driver trainer I have helped people achieve their driving goals, from passing the L test through to passing advanced tests. And since 2009 I’ve delivered classroom and on road training in the corporate world, to help drivers reduce their everyday driving risk.
I had some good trainers myself when I started out, and early in my career I was introduced to the concept of ‘coaching’ people (so much more than just ‘training’ them). I’ve been continually practicing and improving ever since, with each training session I deliver.
Vehicle
You will be training in a manual Volvo v40 dual controlled car, which has all the features and technology that are found in most modern cars, including, adaptive cruise control, speed limiter, parking sensors, parking camera, etc.
