Choir Schools are amazing places where young choristers enjoy learning and playing. Their work takes them into stunningly beautiful buildings on a daily basis.
There is no better educational and musical training start for boys and girls aged 7 years and up who love to sing.
The Choir Schools’ Association is here to help parents and youngsters to make the most of this incredible opportunity.

Talk to CSA
“My wife and I are considering options for my children, which include choir schools. Talking to the Choir Schools Association helped explain the process, things to consider, things not to worry about and things to be planning for. For someone at this stage in the journey for our children’s schooling, this knowledge has been invaluable.”
Supporting Choristerships with the CSA Bursary Trust
Through our Bursary Trust, which is supported by the Department of Education’s Music and Dance Scheme, we are able to support choristerships financially. The aim of the Bursary Trust is to help make the unique and hugely valuable chorister education open to all, irrespective of a family’s financial position.

Hear the Choristers
Choristers regularly broadcast on radio, and are often in the recording studio which means there is a wealth of wonderful music to be enjoyed.
You can visit the BBC Radio 3 Choral Evensong site to listen to the weekly live broadcasts from around the country. You can also tune in to BBC Radio 4’s Sunday Worship each week.
Another useful site is: choralevensong.org where you will find local sung services. “Choral Evensong is a 45-minute long peace-inducing church service …… allowing listeners time for restful contemplation – church members, agnostics and atheists alike. It is both free of charge and free of religious commitment.”
