Welcome to ‘The Berkshire’

Founded by the late rock and roll impresario Bryan Morrison, RCBPC, fondly known as ‘The Berkshire’, has been at the forefront of fashionable society since founding member HRH The Prince of Wales officially opened the club in 1985. The Berkshire, near Windsor, stands out as one of the UK’s top-tier polo clubs and classic events spaces, boasting world-class sporting facilities, including seven pristine polo fields, the UK’s first all-weather polo arena, stabling to accommodate over 200 horses, two tennis courts, a croquet lawn and an esteemed polo academy.

“There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.”

WINSTON S. CHURCHILL

“So much of what has been achieved here at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club is down to the staff behind the scenes, many who have worked here for several years and who we consider part of the family. Your time, dedication and love of all things equine and our club makes the place what it is today. To our members, supporters, partners and all who play and spend time here, we thank you for making this a polo club like no other" - Jamie Morrison
