A life experience that lasts a lifetime.

Ski and snowboard instructor courses

designed for experience seeking gap year adventurers.

More than our name, a way of life.

When we started in 1994 we set out to create the best gap year instructor course anywhere in the world. Granted, we were the first in the world to do it, so there was nothing to beat, but that didn’t stop us thinking of every way possible to make Ski le Gap an essential part of every gap year.

Fast forward 30 years (and over 3,000 gappers) and our ski and board courses are an experience like no other. Elite coaches, our exclusive resort, and a family vibe that gives you the confidence to leave your comfort zone and experience the thrill of snow and travel. All whilst developing lifelong skills and making a world of new friends.

You only get one gap year, make it an epic one.

Mont Tremblant ski resort.

Nestled in the Laurentian Mountains on Canada’s east coast, Mont Tremblant will be your breathtaking Ski le Gap home from home.

Featuring over 100 runs across four distinct peaks, there’s something for skiers and snowboarders of every level.
Off-piste, Mont Tremblant village at the base of the mountain is packed with restaurants, bars, boutiques and famous French Canadian culture.

No wonder it’s the #1 Ski Resort in Eastern North America.

Your nearby accommodation is home to the whole Ski le Gap community and is your jumping off point for daily coaching, evenings in the village and excursions to nearby Montreal, Quebec and Ottawa. As the exclusive instructor school at the resort, we’re proud to have called Tremblant our home since 1994.

Why Ski le Gap?

Trusted for 30 years.

We’ll bring 30 seasons of knowledge and contacts to your gap year adventure in Mont Tremblant, with coaching, activities and a community atmosphere that has been perfected to deliver an unforgettable experience.

Fun-packed program.

Leave with life skills.

As well as your instructor qualification, your time in French Canada will give you the opportunity to learn a new language as you immerse yourself in a new culture, develop your self-confidence and head into the next stage of your life with an empowering sense of independence.
