I have worked in the funeral industry for over 35 years and I am very proud of what I have achieved. My dad started the business in 1982 and I was fortunate enough to work alongside him until he sadly passed away in 2000. I feel very privileged to look after families at their time of need and now with my son Daniel joining the business this will make it a 3 rd generation of family funeral directors. I hope this will continue for years to come.
I am currently studying Business Management and Economics at Bournemouth University and will graduate in 2022. Currently I am on my placement year with the family business. Doing my placement year has made me realise that I want to work in the industry as I find it very rewarding.
I stared working with my father as a funeral operative in Wandsworth and the surrounding areas and worked my way up to funeral manager with various family run company for 19 years. I stared work with Garner’s Funeral Services in 2010, a genuine family run business where families come first all times. I believe being a funeral director is not just a job but a vocation.
