Sovereign was established in 1995. The company started out by providing damp-proofing solutions and associated works to residential clients and main contractors. From there, we started to expand and for the past 10 years, have been heavily involved in contracts with local councils, as well as commercial and residential contracts in both London and East Anglia. This work, true to the company’s roots, has involved damp-proofing, timber treatment and associated reinstatement works, such as rendering, plastering and carpentry second fix.

During Sovereign’s period of expansion, there was a calling for some of the reinstatement work to include specialist work, such as bespoke decoration, access and re-modelling.  As such, Sovereign changed its trading name to Sovereign Specialist Services and offers a bespoke construction service, which includes our historical trades, in addition to waterproofing design and installation, speciality construction work and contract management for both commercial and residential clients.
