WHAT MY CLIENTS SAY

I have just had an excellent restoration of my bow-fronted cabinet by Michael Ellis. The work and the final outcome was first class and I could not have imagined how good it would look. I found Michael to be very courteous and he works in a clean and tidy way. I have now agreed that he will restore my fireplace and shelves to match the oak furniture recently purchased

Micheal prepared and french polished my neglected mahogany bannister rail and newell post matching in some wood. Whilst not cheap his work was excellent and he knows his trade. He has a commendable unassuming nature and a no flannel approach. I intend to use Michael again to restore a dining table and originally found his name on Which? Local

- Pat & Al

This is old fashioned competence and service. A real craftsman who loves his work. Honestly priced and excellent value. I could not have been more pleased with his work on my dining room table, carefully and neatly carried out with minimal disruption

Applicants for the Guild are required to submit confidential references from satisfied customers and one of the first questions asked of all referees is whether or not they would be prepared to recommend the applicant to a relative or close friend.

The Guild’s council of management include a review of the references when considering the application for membership as well as ensuring all other criteria are met. Only when they are satisfied that the applicant really does deserve to be called a master craftsmen is the application approved. This is about as close as you can get to receiving a recommendation from one of your neighbours or friends.
